Jillian Michaels Prevention Video – Keto Diet Rant

“Hello, c’mon…” Jillian Michaels says with her hands sweeping over her body.

She resounds this in a way that accentuates her perfect body speaks for itself.  She knows what she is talking about because her body is the image of perfection.  So she should know what she’s talking about when it comes to body and diet.

The hard-struck thought that comes to mind is that society has been trying to brainwash us into believing that the correct ideal of beauty is what the skinny person says.

That skinny models are the ideal of what is beautiful or what an attractive woman should look like.  And the muscle-bound jock is the ideal of what is handsome or what a good-looking man should look like.

According to Jillian Michaels, the problem with the keto diet is its lack of nutrients because it deprives the body of those essential nutrients. Understanding why and how the keto diet works will help you in the long run that your body is not deprived.

Jillian Michaels is her own person with her own opinions.  It’s just too bad she is a celebrity person that has an opinion that is paid to vocalize it.  Personally, I would pay her not to vocalize it.

That’s just my keto opinion Jillian Michaels!!  Ketomize that!  My macromolecule cells say to stuff it!

  1. I agree with Jillian Michaels. The Keto Diet (which is probably originated from Dr. Atkins) are not that good for us. How can one’s body get all the nutrients from just the protein and meal alone? Also the fiber is so little, you might have a hard time going to the bathroom. However, I heard that Keto Diet is good for people who is suffering with epilepsy, was I right? And it is also good for people who are suffered with diabetes.

    I still believe that a balanced diet is a way to go like Jillian mentioned on the video. These diet fads are making us think that eating MORE of something is ok because it is a certain diet plan. I don’t think so. Energy is still energy, and calories is still calories. The more you eat the more weight you gain. If we all follow the balanced diet with portion control, I think we will get the ultimate health and body. I do not like the concept of just being skinny alone, I want to have it all. I want to be both skinny and healthy.

      I agree with your perspective that the more you eat the more weight you gain.  Sometimes utilizing all the resources and tools you have in front of you enables someone to do that.  It is challenging breaking habits, but nonetheless not impossible.  Thank you for your response.

  2. You are very right. The perfect body should not be determined by a skinny model. Why feed on a diet that will deprive of the nutrients your body needs to function well? All because you want to have a “perfect body”. I believe having a perfect body has to do with your mind. If you tell your self you are beautiful and perfect the way you are, no one will make you think otherwise. Thank you for sharing

      Thank you for your comment. Self-image of one’s body starts with the mind.  The keto diet is another tool available to help be healthy and stay on track with one’s own perception.

  3. Haha! To be honest, I had heard of Jillian Michaels but had not seen her in action until I watched your video. On the other hand, I have seen many, many people find success with a Keto diet so it can’t be all bad. I enjoyed your article and I am looking forward to returning later to see what else you come up with. 🙂

  4. Jillian was one of the more hated trainers on Biggest Loser, so I am guessing that she only has a small number of followers in real life.

    Regardless, she is posturing her rant as if she is an expert in nutrition. However, if she was an expert she would know that most people on Keto eat a lot of vegetables and that those veggies contain carbs, so it is not like Keto eliminates carbs. They are just cut back to a decent amount for improving health.

    I trust Jillian’s advice about as much as I trust Dr. Oz. Anyone who pushes foods that are or contain industrial seed oils clearly do not understand how fake foods affect the body. That is their loss. Great post!

      Thank you for your comment and you made me smile. It’s easy for Jillian to point fingers as others which has been part of her celebrity persona. Which begs the question, what is she actually hiding. I have a feel she may be hiding a fat kid inside somewhere in her closet. That is just my speculation.
      I will definitely took a look at Dr. Oz and his stance on health.
